The Foundation Rule
One of the most critical mistakes in peptide research is jumping straight into complex stacks without establishing individual peptide baselines. This approach makes it impossible to determine which compound is causing specific effects, both beneficial and adverse.
Why Single Testing Matters
When you test a single peptide first, you can accurately assess:
- Individual response patterns
- Optimal dosing for that specific compound
- Any adverse reactions or sensitivities
- Timeline of effects onset and duration
For example, if you start BPC-157 alone at 250 mcg daily and document healing responses over 2-4 weeks, you'll have solid baseline data. When you later add GHK-Cu to create a healing stack, you can clearly identify the synergistic effects.
Recommended Testing Sequence
- Week 1-4: Test primary peptide alone
- Week 5: Washout period (optional for short half-life peptides)
- Week 6+: Introduce second peptide while continuing the first
- Document everything: Response patterns, timing, dosing
Documentation Strategy
Maintain detailed research logs including:
- Daily symptom tracking
- Energy levels and sleep quality
- Any side effects or unusual responses
- Biomarker changes (if applicable)
This systematic approach provides the foundation for intelligent stacking decisions and helps identify individual sensitivities before they become complicated by multiple variables.
